Convergence Rental Housing Group is a Denver-based rental housing investment and development firm founded by Lauren A. Brockman and Peter J. Porraro.
Brockman built his expertise and connections as the former principal of Allied Realty’s Denver office, where he sponsored the acquisition/development of more than 10,000 multifamily units with approximately $925 million in value.
Porraro’s wealth of experience at Mill Creek and Trammell Crow Residential has led him and his teams to invest in, entitle, develop and build more than 14,000 apartment homes with a capitalization over $3.5 billion.
Under the leadership of Brockman and Porraro, Convergence is partnering with industry leaders to take Class A developments from an empty lot and idea to a fully leased, managed and thriving property.
Lauren A. Brockman
With over 35 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Mr. Brockman’s career encompasses the successful acquisition, rehabilitation, design, and development of approximately 11,000 multifamily units with a total aggregate value of approximately $3 billion. Mr. Brockman began his career with Allied Realty Services, where he played a pivotal role in coordinating the rehabilitation and development of communities in Houston. His dedication and leadership paved the way for his rise to principal in 2000. During his tenure at Allied, the firm saw remarkable growth, expanding its management platform from 5,000 units to over 35,000 units and successfully acquiring/developing 5,620 units valued at $665 million. Mr. Brockman sold his interests in Allied Realty’s operating platform and Allied Orion Holdings, LLC in 2012. His career is distinguished by a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience across all facets of the multifamily rental industry, including market feasibility, project financing, development, construction, onsite construction management, property management, and asset management.
Following his tenure at Allied, Mr. Brockman founded Anbrock, LLC, in 2012, and later, Convergence Rental Housing Group in 2022. Convergence is at the forefront of leveraging extensive multifamily development experience, offering development services and asset management focused on rental housing assets, particularly in the Mountain and Northeast regions.
Mr. Brockman is an active participant in numerous industry associations. He served as the President of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver for the 1999-2000 term and as the President of the Colorado Apartment Association (CAA) from 2002 to 2003. His ongoing contribution to the industry includes serving on the board of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Regis University, where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration.
Peter Porraro
Over his 30-year career, Peter Porraro and his teams have invested in, entitled, developed and built more than 14,000 apartment homes with a capitalization over $3.5 Billion. In 2010, Mr. Porraro was one of the founding partners of Mill Creek Residential and most recently served as President of the Investment Management Division and member of the Investment Committee. Prior to this role, he served as the Executive Managing Director of Development and oversaw the company’s development and construction activities across key regions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including pivotal markets such as Washington, D.C., Boston, and the greater New York City metropolitan area. His tenure at Mill Creek and its predecessor, Trammell Crow Residential, spanned over 16 years, during which he assumed various impactful roles. Before joining Trammell Crow, he spent nine years as an Equity Investment and Acquisition Executive at Real Estate Capital Partners.
Mr. Porraro received a Bachelor of Arts from Drew University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, a founding member of New Jersey Mixed-Use Developers and serves on the ULI Multi-Family Gold Council.
Tricia Wood
With over two decades of combined development, construction and property management experience, Tricia Wood formerly served at Vice President of Development for Blue Onyx Companies. Prior to joining Blue Onyx Companies, she held the role of Director of Development for Roseland Residential and various roles including Vice President of Development at Mill Creek Residential (MCR), where she established a highly acclaimed reputation for delivering exceptional mixed-use developments, with portfolio experience of over $1B in residential and mixed-use development projects which consisted of more than 3,500 luxury rental apartments and some for-sale condominium homes.
Ms. Wood managed the development design and construction processes across diverse portfolios of high-value mixed-use / multifamily residential spaces throughout the Northeast New Jersey / New York locations.
Some of her responsibilities included pursuing new development opportunities, product design, the pursuit of entitlements to meet all local jurisdictional requirements and facilitating the overall development design and construction process through lease-up. Ms. Wood also has experience managing Class A-Multi-Family Residential interior and exterior amenity renovation work on fully occupied high-rise buildings along the Jersey City, New Jersey waterfront.
Ms. Wood was selected in 2020 as one of the founding Co-Chairman of the Mack-Cali Women’s Leadership Network (MCWLN) during her employment at Mack-Cali / Roseland Residential which attracted close to 75 members from the company. In addition, she was selected and worked as a committee member for the Mill Creek Residential National Standards Committee during her tenure at MCR.
